The recent, hard hitting pull no punches, Gulf News interview with John Banks proved without a doubt that he has David Hays hand right up his arse.

Dear John,

There is no substance to that perpetually spouted drivel about of the cost of Waiheke waste collection under Clean Stream vs. TPI. When you are ready to release the true figures give us a call however we won’t hold our breath as we all know you are just a puppet mayor and David Hay and his C & R team really run council.

So Fullers have finally conceded that the Quickcat is in fact the Slow Dog and can’t do the run in the touted 35 minutes. Tell a story often enough and people will believe it. Instead of beefing up the horsepower,  or simply opening the throttle, Fullers have decided that in order for the punters meet their connecting bus and trains, wait for it,  the 7:20 will become the 7:15 from early October. Trust Fullers to be on the cutting edge of progress.

It’s good to see the Potty one doesn’t let a chance go by with her crusade to have the speed limit lowered on Onetangi Rd (often referred to as Onetangi Straight). Since when have piss-heads obeyed speed limits? Perhaps the Potty one could actually get the Police out of the doughnut shops and onto the road. In the 5 years I have been driving that 80k stretch of road I have never seen a Police patrol.

Aaron Bhatnagar appears to have elevated himself to the position of Waiheke enemy number one. While putting together YouTube clips for Waiheke TV News website it became fairly evident that Mr Bhatnagar had engineered a solution that was not achievable by the incumbent (Clean Stream Waiheke), denied speaking rights to the Waiheke community, had opposition councillors denied voting rights and eventually managed to get Clean Stream Waiheke disqualified for canvassing after the tender had closed.

Anyone else notice that Aaron’s hair appeared freshly gelled for the camera. Obviously our man Aaron is a firm believer in the product or he was so excited about destroying Clean Stream that he had his own “Something about Mary moment”

Anyway, we are on to you Aaron,  you cannot unring a bell, the truth will come out.

We were well impressed by the size of the nutsack on the Ram statue outside the home of the Waiheke Rams at Ostend domain and wondered if they had actually obtained a resource consent for it. It had become the topic of some discussion with some suggesting that it be painted in the Rams colours. and then, one day our Ram is nutless.

While the Cynic was riding the third boat out this morning he overheard a paasenger telling the following story.

” I went to get my monthly pass and a beer from the cafeteria on board - the guy serving said he would put the monthly pass transaction through first. Transaction completed he then pointed out that the beer was less that the $5 minimum credit card transaction and would he like to buy some nuts with that!”

For once in my life words fail me!!
