A car travelling east along the straight failed to take the corner at the end, slid across the road and through the fence. Once again hearty congratulations must go out to Rebecca Potts, Antony Yates, Councillor Roach, Board members Ray Ericson, Tony Sears, Nobilangelo Cedramalus, Eileen Evans and Herb Raomaniuk for their forward thinking, not to mention the loss of driver license testing.

Congratulations also go out to the Police, I saw my first sight of a Police Car on the straight in 7 years yesterday. It doesn’tmatter what the speed limit is, those that speed know they won’t get caught. I tried to report the accident by calling Waiheke Police. I was greeted with “You have reached the Police voicemail system, if you know the extension you want, dial it now” Police Fail.
